Bridgid Gallagher is a freelance writer based in Seattle, Washington. She writes web and print content for businesses and publications. Bridgid recently founded Inky Fresh Press, a blog by and for new writers about the process of writing and getting published. In her spare time, she enjoys rock climbing, running and cooking delicious vegetarian meals.

A little more personal...

The summer before I graduated from the University of Washington, I began writing a novel. That marked a turning point in my life: I discovered my passion for writing and knew that I wanted to work with words. After I graduated, my husband and I spent a year traveling while I worked to establish myself as a writer. We started in South America, then visited popular rock climbing areas throughout North America. Since returning from our trip I have continued to write fiction, and I pursue every opportunity that teaches me more about the craft and business of writing.
